About & Ticket Info

Exclusive Bowral book launch for The Titanic Story of Evelyn, a captivating work of non-fiction by renowned journalist Lisa Wilkinson AM.

You're invited to a special event to celebrate the most remarkable true story you've never heard: the only Australian-born survivor of the sinking of the Titanic.

Evelyn Marsden was a nurse and a champion rower who grew up in South Australia and longed to see the world. In The Titanic Story of Evelyn, Lisa Wilkinson AM reveals for the first time the heroism of this brave young woman, who not only survived but helped countless others to safety.

Enjoy dinner, wine and the beautiful setting of Centennial Vineyards Restaurant as we celebrate this impeccably researched and superbly written new book that brings together the incredible drama of the sinking of the Titanic and Evelyn Marsden's uniquely Australian story.

Guests may also take part in an audience Q&A and meet Lisa at our book-signing.
