Literary Event with Monday Morning Cooking Club

After three best-selling cookbooks, the Monday Morning Cooking Club is back with a stunning collection of heirloom recipes. 

The recipes in Now for Something Sweet are as treasured as they are delicious. The book follows the authors’ search to uncover, curate and celebrate the very best, most cherished sweet recipes from their families and communities – in Australia and around the world. (For balance, there’s also one savoury chapter.) 

And the sweet treats are accompanied by heart-warming stories of family, friendship, community and survival.

Friends Lisa Goldberg, Merelyn Frank Chalmers, Natanya Eskin and Jacqui Israel, from Sydney’s Jewish community, came together 15 years ago. Inspired by their joint desire to discover and share their community’s heirloom recipes, the Monday Morning Cook Club was born.
