Please join The Bookshop Bowral and Linda Jane Holden, author of The Gardens of Bunny Mellon (Vendome Press) for a morning tea, talk, and book signing at Centennial Vineyard, Bowral, on Thursday, October 17, 2019.
Linda will be speaking about Bunny Mellon's legacy and life, along with her own stories of writing this remarkable biography. Rachel 'Bunny' Mellon was born to great wealth but created an extraordinary career as a garden designer, designing gardens for the White House, the Kennedys, the couturier Hubert de Givenchy, and her own legendary estate 'Oak Spring' in Virginia.
As well, Australian author Janelle McCulloch will talk about the gardens she was privileged to shoot for her bestselling book Gardens of Style: Private Hideaways of the Design World (Rizzoli New York), including the gardens of Christian Dior, Estée Lauder, Carolyne Roehm, Bunny Williams, Hermès former creative director Nicole de Vesian, and more.
